The Hot Tub Boat
Standard Terms & Conditions
Rental - Hot Tub Cruise Boat.
Effective from 2021 all and updated when appropriate
1. Agency Bookings - bookings made through Travel Agents are subject to agreed travel agency procedures regarding bookings and cancellations and the following conditions of hire.
2. Direct Bookings - 100 % of the 90min cruise fee is required at time of booking. A tour is booked only, when the signed completed booking form together with the full amount has reached to - The Hot Tub Boat - (Shannon Culture Ltd) - and a confirmation of the booking has been dispatched to the customer. Cancellation is subject to condition no. 3 of these Standard Terms and Conditions. The customer is responsible for the whole fee once the booking is confirmed.
3. Cancellations - should the hirer/customer be unable to make the date/time of their cruise, the following cancellation policy applies: Cancellations must be notified by email to The Hot Tub Boat - info@HotTubBoat.ie - 48 hours before their cruise, If the cancellation is less than 48hours before their cruise 100 % of the fee will be retained by The Hot Tub Boat - (Shannon Culture Ltd) We offer a full refundable fee before 48hours of their cruise. We advise our customers to inform themselves about our cancellation T&C.
4.Boarding and Instruction - The hirer/Customer must be at least 16 years old and be in possession of a valid I.D. The hirer/customer is responsible for the whole crew, and will be held liable for any loss, damage or legal liability due to wilful and deliberate acts. The Hot Tub Boat (Shannon Culture Ltd) retains the right, to refuse permission onboard, who is not considered a suitable person to take charge. In such a case Irelands Hot Tub Boat (Shannon Culture Ltd) would refund the total fee and would not be liable in any way to the hirer/customer. The hirer/customer boards our hot tub boat after settlement of the necessary formalities, full instructions, safety and rules onboard the workings of our cruise boat.
The hirer is obliged to respect the rules of Shannon Navigation Bye-Law and the regulations of Irelands Hot Tub Boat (Shannon Culture Ltd.) It is illegal to be under the influence of drugs.
5. Accidents and break-downs - If an accident happens because of carelessness or disregard of the instructions, The Hot Tub Boat (Shannon Culture Ltd) cannot be held liable. The hirer/customer agrees to inform Irelands Hot Tub Boat (Shannon Culture Ltd) immediately of any damage to the hot tub or boat and immediately endeavour to rectify the situation. Repairs must not be put into the hands of other firms or persons without authority.
6. Cruising Delays - The Company cannot be held liable for any slight inaccuracy that may exist. The booking is made on the understanding, that the hot tub boat will be placed at the disposal of the hirer/customer on the date, unless the Company is prevented due to circumstances outside its control from doing so. In this event every effort will be made to rectify the problem. Should this prove impossible, any payments made will be refunded in full and the hirer/customer will have no further claim against the Company.
7. Return of the Hot Tub Boat - The Hot Tub Boat and equipment must be returned in a clean condition throughout. Failure to comply with any of these conditions will result in the hirer having to pay a fine.
8. Injury or damage to your property - Hirers/customers are specifically advised that there is no insurance cover provided for death, personal injury or loss or damage to personal property (including any motor vehicles in the car park) under the Hire Agreement unless it is caused by the Company’s negligence or wilful default. Hirers/customers are strongly advised to secure separate insurance for these risks.
9. Transfers to and from the Hot Tub boat - The responsibility for any other mode of transport is strictly a matter of the hirer/customer.
